She'd Rather Be a Widow

marissa patterson

I fear the man you became,

unkept resolve as you passed.

The pain kept, left him untame

Death came for the slain

Where is the body? Stabbed.

I fear the man you became!

Dare I ask who you try to blame.

Your soul maimed.

The pain kept, left him untame

How dare you lay claim,

to what my heart wanted,

When, I fear the man you became.

You chose the path, Shame.

Our love can only be shattered.

The pain kept, left him untame!

How I’ve wept in pain.

True love always tainted.

I fear the man You Became.

The pain kept left him….Untame.
